Q1. vSphere ESXi keyboard not working on the server console (host machine).
Recently had an issue on a Dell PowerEdge R710 server where the USB keyboard would not function on the host machine.
Keyboard works OK at boot time all the way up till the ESXi boots past the white bar then keyboard would stop working.
Trying alternate USB ports on the front and back of the server didn't work either.
Contacted Dell and Vmware support, but found a solution in the meantime.
